Dayton CX weekend

The short of it was....... I was supposed to be 7th call-up both days but for whatever reason, (the officials said it was a computer error) I was called up dead last. Not really a big deal since I'm not going to be doing the series, but it would have been nice to be able to battle for a podium spot which I believe I would have been able to do since I had good legs and felt good both days. Saturdays race I battled from last in a 50 man 35-45+ field to 9th overall 45+ and 20th overall, Sunday was a 70 man field and I fought my up to 14th 45+ but dont know the overall position. I rode strong and worked my way up the field aggressively and felt good about the way I rode. My motto is, it is what it is and things like that happen, it also happened to Shawn Adams on Saturday for whatever reason, it sucks but oh well, it's just a bike race.

We had good representation of Bike Authority/Team Lake Effect for 5 podium spots, Julie, Johnny, Robert, Tony and Rudy, congratulations to all of you!

This weekend is the Applefest 5k in Franklin Pa. and Doug's annual clam-bake at the cabin, it's going to be an awesome weekend like it always is at the cabin.

Ohio State CX Championships are coming up in a couple weeks in Dublin which is a suburb of C-bus, but first it's Spin's Cross Your Heart CX race in Willoughby next weekend, that's always a great event.

See you there.
